The book opens looking down at a sandy gulf-coast beach, takes the reader on a journey Texas, and ends with us looking up at a west Texas desert sky.
A clean, western-inspired typeface is used to tribute Texas. Its grandiose scale hints at the famous slogan, 'everything is bigger in Texas.'
Each region's title spread has a unique color and dramatic typographic moment. Each color approximates the most dominant color in its region's photographs.
